Great Wall of China 'even longer'
A two year government mapping study recalculated the length of the Great Wall of China and were able to find out that the wall is even greater than they thought it was. Previous estimates on the length of it used to be based on historical records. By the use of infra red and GPS technologies, the project was successful.The article has very fascinating details about historical backgrounds and what the results of the study were.
