Mayan King's Tomb Found in Guatemala

In May, archaelogists digging in Guatemala have discovered a 1600 year old Mayan royal tomb packed with carving, ceramics and children's bones. Among the findings in the tomb were a series of blood red earthen ware bowls containing human teeth and fingers. Archaelogists believe that the remains of the King discovered inside the tomb was very likely the founder of a dynasty. The bones of six children were discovred in the tomb with the king and are believed to have been sacrificed at the time of his death.

  1. Hey sorry, I just want to let you know Mrs. Doyon said in class that we can't do the same story as someone else, and Tim S already did this one. Look though the blog and check out what people had already posted and make sure what you want to post hasn't already been posted. You may have to do another one.

    Hope this helps,
